Remember the Alamo! You can’t imagine just how long we wanted to write that. The Alamo mission building is site of the Battle of the Alamo. The 13-day siege of 100 or so Texans by 1,500 Mexican soldiers under General Santa Anna. The battle took place in what is now San Antonio, Texas. The Texas defenders included noteworthy figures such as James Bowie, William Travis, Davy Crockett and Richard Widmark (that’s only a joke, please don’t send hate mail). Actual stamped image is shown. Watermark copyright is not on the stamp you will receive.
