The jaguar is a powerful symbol in the Aztec world representing primal power and savagery and often representing the god Tezcatlipoca. The name is a little confusing because the Nahuatl word for jaguar is Ocelotl. The naming of it’s smaller regional cousin the Ocelot further compounds this confusion. Jaguars were often associated with warriors, strife, shamanistic ritual and the volcanic glass obsidian. Rubber stamp is made from high-quality, deep-etched, red rubber. Watermark copyright is not on the stamp you will receive.
