Scientifically described in 1880 as Desmonema Annasethe, the tentacles of reminded naturalist Ernst Haeckel of his late wife's long flowing hair. Now known as the Lion's Mane jellyfish genus Cyanea. Species of Cyanea are that largest known jellyfish in the world measuring 6 feet wide with 1200 tentacles more than 100 feet long. This rubber stamp is made from high-quality, deep-etched, red rubber from Butter Side Down Stamps. 100% made in the USA.
