The 12-pounder Napoleon cannon was the most widely used field gun in the American Civil War. The smooth bore field gun was cast bronze named for Napoleon III of France. It was capable of firing solid shot, shell, grape or canister and accurate at a range of one mile. Actual stamped image is shown. Watermark copyright is not on the stamp you will receive.
