The Parrott Rifle field gun was widely used by both sides in the American Civil War. Accurate for their day, Parrott guns are muzzle loading field gun invented by Captain Robert Parker Parrott. The gun was cast iron with reinforcing bands of wrought iron. Actual stamped image is shown. Watermark copyright is not on the stamp you will receive.
